Why 60 × 90 is the standard
A 60 × 90 cm pad covers the full width of a single hospital mattress and the area under the torso and hips, which is where protection is needed. It is the size written into most hospital and care-home tenders, in Europe as 60 × 90 cm and in North America as 23 × 36 in.

Construction
Five layers on every grade: nonwoven top sheet, acquisition and distribution layer, virgin fluff pulp, super absorbent polymer and a 100% waterproof polyethylene backsheet. Latex-free, hypoallergenic top sheet.
